Jump construction
The venue: Taman Keramat
The time: 9pm
The criminals:
1) Duan (Super mastermind and evil genius in hibiscus pants)
2) Ober (Voted as the should be the first rider to test)
3) Hezri (Bukit Cermin Rider- fuhhh respect you came all the way bro)
4) Myself
5) Zakee (Badang)
I bought some shovel at Ace hardware and a torchlight. The jump arent very high but the drop is a slope after rider airbourne.... what made more terifying is the only guide light for the jumps is a torchlight held by Duan.....
We build the jump using chunk of rocks collected as the base, a sand bag, and the soil around it to strengthen it.
So after 10 minutes waiting for Ober to write his will before the jump, Hezri cant take it anymore and replaced Ober's place as a crash test dummy for the nite.
After seeing Hezri jumping few times, I was also toxicated to jump although i am wearing slippers. The camera reaction time is too slow that we can't predict when is the perfect time to snap it.
Ober finally jump too... luckily he bought his DaBomb last night, Thank and kudos to all who have been helpful completing the task although it was dark....
more upgrades will be done. Zakee and I will preserve the build and today we will bring our shovels to add some reinforcement to avoid anyone or nature destructing it.

Haro Group C1 1995~1997
After selling off my completed DYNO, due to the lack of financial after upgrading the C4 to Scirocco, i am retrying to continue the plan to own a BMX by buying a Haro Group C1 1995~1997
I bought at a LBS at an offer price with basic components to run, but i have upgraded the stock parts which i think it won't stand the incoming abusement i have planned for it. Some of the parts are leftovers from the previous BMX project.
The main objective is to build a BMX bike which will be use for agressive riding, i can't practice jumps, hook ups, and other tricks involving jumps using the MTB as it will destroy it much faster, the BMX parts are a lot cheaper and the CrMo is bomb-proof unlike the MTB which is much expensive. I will try to learn basic trials movements using it.
The future specs

Over kill?
These few weeks i am busy, missed few routine rides around my residential area. I am now taking part time studies as pre-requisite to continue for Masters level. The 1st class which was held on Sunday was a great class, the lecturer knows how to eliminate the spread of sleepy disease by making jokes and sharing his thoughts of life and what more important is child raising experiences which he had.
Being a parent these days are challenging, to earn money for daily expenses, necessity and entertainment is one thing. I am very worried when watching my surroundings which is full of hazard.
I was bored waiting for my frame to arrive from USA, so I sold my BMX stuff to get another frame while waiting for SE racing to arrive, man it is really a painful wait.
So i went to a bike shop which is my favourite since 1993, and heheh i always make an nice grin whenever i see the shop owner, memories of my school days really struck my mind hard..... after 15 years, this is the second MTB frame i bought from his bikeshop! the previous purchase was a No-Name-Brand CrMo frame, back in the year 1999.
He doesn't sell many freeride hardtail, i can see only 2 available, one is a Scott Voltage and the other is a Banshee Scirocco, the Scirocco is intended for trail usage, but judging at the slopestyle of the upper tube, weld and rectangular tubing, it is looks like freeride frame. The Scirocco have been there for almost a year, hmmmmmmmmmm...... OK la Scirocco, let's go home. I bought it a bargain price, how? here is the phrase i said to the shop owner:-
"For 15 years i have been here looking at your bikes, since i was a small kid, can you please do me a favour by selling something cheap to me as your loyal visitor eheheh"
And yup, i got it at a fair price with a Chris King NoThread headset. Cos the frame already have scratches resulted from its life as a display item. Other things i bought is Titanium screws for the discs, Jagwires, FOX shin guard and Maxxis 2.35 High Roller tires, front and rear.
So, I sold my BMX for the Scirocco. The Odyssey rims really have a high value! LOL.
I went to Yoong and bought a Sunline Stem and at that night, a DIY session was done, I spent the night making a custom frame guard and chainguard using punctured tubes. Nice, seems i have talent in wrapping things up. I thought that will be the only thing to do, but in the end i spotted that my front and rear tires were installed wrongly, no wonder i felt sand flying onto my face while pedalling, I sorted it myself by switching the rotation.
What will happen to the SE x4 flyer when it arrives? I think i will pull some items in my store and build it as a TRIALS bike (not TRAIL). I have some single speed setup set kept, so will use it together with a rigid fork.

X4 Flyer Evil twin: The Fuji Air Panic
I was surfing the net when i stumbled with one finding, I knew that Fuji and SE bikes have joint ventures together since 2002, but i didnt know that they have similar relationship like Mitsubishi and Proton, same chassis with different decal/tag names.
I checked with mtbr.com, glad to know many riders gave positive feedback about this frame.
